Welcome to Sunshine Montessori Nursery

Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, Sunshine Montessori has been looking after children in the local community for over 14 years.

We are extremely lucky to have a loyal and long serving team who are completely dedicated to the happiness and well-being of the children in our care.

Our nursery is in a beautiful old school house and just a short walk from the common, our forest school site and our new allotment.

We have some availability for September 2025 admissions, please make an enquiry below.

Our Environments

We are very lucky to have a number of beautiful environments here at Sunshine Montessori. Our classrooms are not only full of wooden and natural resources, but we also embrace nature with our forest school, allotment and actively used play areas.

Our Team

Our wonderful team use mix of Montessori practice, the EYFS and Forest School learning to teach our children. Our team combines an invaluable mix of deep experience. They bring oodles of energy to nursery every day and love to support children to learn and grow.

Our Ethos

Our educational approach draws on our extensive understanding of early brain development to enable every child to fulfil their greatest potential.

“Wonderful nursery, amazing staff and fantastic atmosphere for my little one who is always happy to go to nursery. Cannot fault anything!!!”

“I cannot recommend this nursery enough. The collaborative aspect between parent and carer is brilliant and I always feel like I can ask questions and adapt things to what is required based on the child. My son is flourishing at this nursery and has all the opportunities he needs to prepare him for school too.”
